All State Audition Information
Auditions for SCMMEA All-State will take place on November 4th during the morning of All-District Choir. If your student qualified in the top 25 for each section they will have the opportunity to audition for All State. The finer details of that morning will be sent out later.
When you come to audition you are required to bring both the "All State Audition Permission" and the "All State Student Information" and your audition fee. The fee to audition for All-State is $10 per student. If we do not have the permission letter we are not allowed to allow them to participate in the audition. Checks need to be made payable to "SCMCDA" or "South-Central Missouri Choral Directors Association".
The audition consists of "Locus Iste", which I have also attached below. The files are available on the MCDA site and on Ozarks website that was used for All District Choir. The MCDA site requires you to have your current login information to view the files (that is a whole different email in and of itself).
Our district will send 24 students to All-State Choir, six for each voice part, and two alternates that will be added to the All-State Ensemble if someone cannot attend or fails to comply with the rules set out for them. All-State Choir results will be emailed to directors no later than 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5th, 2017

Note - the addresses at Strafford have changed slightly. If you need to mail your audition fees in before November 4th, my address is listed below. The previous address will eventually get to me but may take a day or so longer.
I will work on getting an updated list of only the students that are in the audition but for now I needed to get the information out. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
